K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana was overwhelmed after seeing the Godavari waters and also the greenery that has developed around it in Telangana in the form of agriculture.
Today KCR has inspected the waters flowing from Lakshmi Barrage to the Godavari. He had an ariel view of the surroundings with the Ministers and also the Chief secretary Somesh Kumar.
Amidst Vedic hymns, KCR performed Pooja to the waters and sprinkled water over his head apart from putting some coins in the waters. CM secretary Smitha Sabharwal was also present along with him.
The CM also had a brief review near the garages along with the officials so as to distribute the water properly to the agricultural lands of Telangana.
After getting down from the cars, KCR walked long distances with all ease and was happy with the scenario waters under the barrages. The Government is trying to do pisciculture in these waters.
Fish seedlings were also distributed in some areas already.
