Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao floated the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party on April 27, 2001, with an aim of achieving separate statehood for the Telangana. KCR successfully rekindled the hopes amongst the Telanganites and finally on 2 June 2014, Telangana was formed.
Today, TRS celebrates its plenary and in the past 20 years, the TRS party has reinvented itself. KCR strives hard and never steps back to work for the development of the state.
KCR has come up with various welfare schemes and today Telangana stood as an inspiration for many other neighbouring states. KCR wants TRS to grow beyond the individual and should become an institution.
