The medal winners from the CWG of 5 states today met the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here at the Pragathi Bhavan. The CM assured all-out help for the sportspersons and also reservations in the jobs in Telangana state. 18 medal winners met the CM and appraised him about the achievements.
Players winning at the International level will be encouraged the CM assured. It may be recalled that earlier Saina, Sania and Sindhu were given cash award by the CM. Sania was made as an ambassador of Telangana. Coach Gopichand was also awarded and rewarded by the Telangana Government. Whenever any sportsperson wanted to meet KCR, he never said no. They were encouraged to meet him and was suggested get some help or the other for the improvement of the game or sport that they are into.
Even KTR the son of CM and IT Minister is also a lover of sports and encourages sportspersons. KTR plays golf now and then.
