CM and BRS boss can take the Ariel route to Maharashtra. But he chose to travel on the bus with all his ministers and also party workers.
He will reach Maharashtra by road and also tour with the same convoy of vehicles. The local vehicles will also join him. He will be in Maharashtra for two days and is likely to come back Tuesday evening.
Several parts of Hyderabad, particularly the Begumpet area experienced traffic congestion this morning. Commuters, who were trying to beat the Monday morning rush, encountered another challenge as they drove to work.
A huge convoy of over 600 plus cars with BRS leaders led by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao took off to Maharashtra. This led to a traffic jam in several parts of the city.
The Road was closed for traffic from Begumpet to Patancheru to facilitate passage of the Chief Minister’s convoy of vehicles to Maharashtra. But this was for a brief time as the convoy was moving with all the speed.
Most of the cars were high-ended SUVs and they crossed the border in no time. But there was some inconvenience to the regular traffic. The people en route were enthused to see the long convoy of vehicles with pink BRS flags.
The vehicles started from Pragathi Bhavan this morning. It was led by the Convoy of the CMs motorcade. The CM was accompanied by Harish Rao and Jagdish Reddy.
