Chief Minister KCR called upon the people of the State to celebrate the Ganesh Shoba yatra and Milad Un Nabi festivals in harmony spreading the spirit of Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb to the world.
Both the festivals are falling on the same day as wished by God. But the peace committee on the suggestion of the police has postponed te Eid precession to the first of October.
In the wake of heavy rains, he advised devotees joining Ganesh immersion to take all precautions and safety measures.
KCR said the State government had made elaborate arrangements all over the State including the city for the immersion.
KCR expressed happiness that the Ganesh Navaratri was celebrated in a grand manner all over. The Ganesh procession this time has started very early in the morning and Bada Ganesh from Kahairatabad has already reached the Tankbund for nimajjan.
The RTC and Metro Rail have extended extra service for the people coming to witness the nimajjan process. The Balapr Ladd was sold for twenty-seven lakh in the auction.
CP Anand said that there could be a delay like every year in the nimajjan process, but it would be completed by the next day morning.
