The Telangana Government is thinking in terms of adding more welfare schemes for the betterment of the lives of the people in the state. The cabinet meeting scheduled for this afternoon at Pragathi Bhavan has listed out the agenda.
KCR the chief Minster is likely to add some more welfare measures it is reported. There is a talk prevailing in the political circles that the new CM of AP Jaganmohan Reddy is taking up all out welfare measures for the people of Andhra Pradesh. Now both the Telugu states are competing in terms of the welfare schemes being extended by the Government.
There is a chance that the cabinet might approve for the increase in retirement age of the Government employees to 61and the interim relief for them will also be decided. Crop loans up to Rs one lakh will be waived it is reported.
KCR will take stock of the situation on the crop loan front and would announce suitable measures for the benefit of the farming community. The road safety act and the new municipal act could be finalised in this meet.
There will be a discussion on the construction of the secretariat buildings and also a new Assembly building. The status of the irrigation projects will be discussed in detail.
Apart from this, the preparation for the launch of the prestigious Kaleshwaram project will be reviewed by the Chief Minister KCR. The subjects of housing, Education and Health will also be discussed by the cabinet.
