Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao looked like a cowboy today with his hat while he inspected the Kaleshwaram project lift irrigation ongoing works in Karimnagar district.
With the state government aiming to lift water from Yellampally to Mid Manair, the Chief Minister personally along with Minister for irrigation Harish Rao inspected Tupakulagudem Barrage works, Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram Barrage and pump housework.
With a hat on his head to cover the sun, he trekked all the way along the projects on his own and took stock of the situation. No chief Minister so far took so much of Interest like KCR.
However, KCR expressed unhappiness over the progress of Tupakulagudem Barrage and directed the officials concerned to speed up the project works in stipulated time.
The government previously was scheduled to complete Kaleshwaram works by June 2018.
