Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has congratulated Ms Aishwarya Boddapati, Lt Commander in Indian navy, a native of Telangana, on her being selected for the prestigious Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award 2017 by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
The Chief Minister described that it as an honour to the state and wished Ms Aishwarya all the best and expressed the hope that she would get more and more such awards in future also.
Lt Commander Aishwarya earlier was awarded the Nari Shakti Award and Nao Sena Award and now this Award.
In a letter to Lt Commander Aishwarya, Director Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, informed that the Award presentation ceremony will be held at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi, on 25th September 2018 and requested her to come and receive the Award.
