The State Government is organising a grand Christmas feast today here in Hyderabad. It is being organised by the Telangana Government with a cost of around 33 crores.
LB stadium is the venue for the grand Christmas party. Around 10,000 Christians are expected to participate in the prayers and also the dinner is being organised by the Government.
The State Ministers will also participate in the event. Around 2 lakh poor Christians are being given free clothes as Christmas gifts by the Government.
The distribution of free clothes is already being done by the Ministers in districts. Chief Minister KCR will grace the occasion and also participate in the dinner and prayers.
No other Government is organising such type of dinners for the festivals except for the Telangana Government. The Telangana Government is celebrating Dasara, Ramzan and also Christmas.
