K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of Telangana today met Governor Tamilisai and presented her with a bouquet of flowers and exchanged pleasentires. He is meeting the Governor after a gap of nine months.
KCR drove down to Raj Bhavan a few minutes before the ceremony. He presented a bouquet to Dr Tamilisai and exchanged pleasantries with her. Both the leaders wished each other and spent some time before attending the ceremony.
After the swearing-in ceremony, KCR spent some time with the new chief justice and the governor in Raj Bhavan. Later, Tamilisai saw off the chief minister.
KCR earlier had gone to Raj Bhavan on October 11, 2021, on the occasion of the swearing-in of Justice Satish Chandra Sharma as chief justice of Telangana high court.
Later differences cropped up between the chief minister and the governor over the nomination of TRS leader Padi Kaushik Reddy as MLC under the governor’s quota. Tamilisai rejected his nomination on technical grounds, and it angered KCR.
But Tamilisai openly stated that she has nothing against KCR in person and wanted the governor post to be respected and not Tamilisai as an individual.
