Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao extended Eid-ul-Fitr which is being celebrated today. KCR is doing a lot of welfare to the minorities here in Telangana and assured of more help and welfare.
KCR wished that Muslims celebrate the festival with their family members and relatives with the spirit of discipline, brotherhood, devotion and spirituality absorbed from fasting during the holy month of Ramzan.
The CM prayed that Telangana state should prosper with the blessings of Allah, and that people live happily together. Rao reiterated that Telangana symbolised ‘Ganga-Jamuna tehzeeb’ and the state government was committed to preserving secularism and religious harmony.
KCR noted that the state government had extended support to the Muslim community in many fields along with education and employment. The government had spent nearly Rs 13,000 crore for the welfare and development of the community since 2014.
The CM said efforts would be made to roll out the state’s Muslim Minority Development Model across the country.
