Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao condemned the terrorist attack on the Indian soldiers and said that it is an attack on the Indians. He expressed sympathy to the families of Jawans who died in the attack. He was talking in the Assembly today during the budget session. CM KCR assured the jawans that entire India is with them and would support them.
He wanted the Central Government to formulate a strategy to stop Terrorism. The families of the Jawans will be helped by the Telangana Government also he said. He announced an exgratia of Rs 25 lakh each. He moved a resolution to this effect.
He condemned the incident on behalf of the Government. He said that the country will not forget the sacrifice of Jawans. The people must come together to fight terrorism he said.
The leader of the Opposition from the Congress party Bhatti Vikramarka supported the resolution moved by the Chief Minister in the house. He agreed that it is an attack on the sovereignty of the country. The attack devastates the country he opined.
The intelligence should be improved to notice such attack in advance he added. He complimented the Government for announcing the help of Rs 25 lakh to the families of Martyrs.
All the states must support the country in stopping terrorism.
MIM leader Ahmed Balalah condemned the incident of Pulwama. We are with the Government and the Government should act with an iron hand he said. All these addas of the terrorists should be destroyed he suggested.
JEM and Pakistan are behind this attack he stated. Kashmir is our part and it is part of India he said. The Government has failed in intelligence he said. How can RDX come into the country he questioned.
BJP lone MLA complimented KCR for announcing Rs 25 lakhs to each of the Martyrs families. We must pay back Pakistan in the same coin he said. We must attack Pakistan and suggested KCR write a letter to the PM Modi.
The resolution has been passed in the Assembly and adopted. The members observed 2 minutes silence as a mark of respect to the jawans who died in the Pulwama attack.
