After visiting two forests which were developed after the TRS came into power, K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister of Telangana advised the Ministers and collectors to grow more of forests in the state of Telangana.
He was happy that the hard work done for the last 4 years to retain the forest in these areas has paid rich dividends. KCR observed that the warmth has reduced in the area and that more of rainfall was also recorded in these areas. There is a considerable change in the atmosphere due to the improvement in the forest area he opined.
He advised the collectors to take this example and see that the state turns greener with trees. He said that the forests must become the food courts for the monkeys and that they must not look at the villages.
The CM had a detailed review of the welfare measures being taken up in the state of Telangana and suggested the collectors on the ways and means of improving the conditions further. Drinking water, irrigation water, greenery are the top priority in the state he suggested the Collectors.
The CM wanted the collectors to see that the situation changes in the coming 60 days, in terms of clean state and also improvement in the greenery. A lot of improvement in greenery must be felt in the state he advised the collectors and Ministers. The forests must be grown and groomed apart from protecting the existing forests the chief Minister suggested.
The Chief Minister KCR will be back to Hyderabad by this evening.
