Kavitha the Jagruthi chief and former TRSMP from Nizamabad said that the TRS Government has done a lot for the celebration of Bathukamma festival.
Apart from giving funds for the celebrations, the ladies are gifted Sarees by the KCR Government. Bathukamma now has to international recognition and it is celebrated across the globe by the Telugu people.
It is all due to the initiative taken by the Jagruthi organisation under the leadership of Kavithat the dynamic daughter of the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Talking at Ravindra Bharathi after giving away the awards for the bathukamma Photo competition, Kavitha expressed her happiness that the photos of non-journalists were also allowed for the competition.
She said that Bathukamma is a government festival and they will continue to developt it year after year. the whole theme of the photo exhibition was about Bathukamma festival.
The competition was conducted by the photojournalists association.
