TRS MP and KCR’s daughter K. Kavitha is one person who always thinks about the welfare of the Telugu people. She openly supported the cause of the special status to AP. She is like a symbol for empowerment of women in Telangana. She is no less than KCR and KTR when compare in oratory skills. She impressed one and all with her simplicity and positive attitude in Parliament.
Now she is advocating for strengthening of the regional parties so that the centre would deal with the states properly. Here she reminded about the late and great NTR who fought for the self respect of the Telugus like KCR fought for the cause of the people in Telangana.
Recently she has made some interesting comments on AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and her father-Telangana CM KCR. Kavitha stated that Centre is looking at Telugu states only because of both CMs Chandrababu Naidu and KCR who are wedded for the development of the states..
Responding to the recent remarks of BJP’s former MP Tarun Vijay on South Indians that courted a major controversy, Kavitha said those remarks have hurt her a lot. However, she quickly added that it’s better to leave the topic as Tarun had already apologised for his comments.She is well versed in English, Telugu and Hindi .Some times she can use Urdu also and has conducted an Urdu musherah at Charminar which was like creating history.
Kavitha has recalled that the Centre has changed its way only after NTR in Andhra and Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu have been set up. Stating that the two-party system in Centre should go, Kavitha has given an open call for regional parties to strengthen themselves.The idea is that the regional parties should gain more strength and that they must get their due from the centre.
Kavitha has echoed for the Special Category Status of the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh. By praising Chandrababu now, Kavitha seems to be trying to be in the good books of people of Andhra also. She also attended the summit of the women parliamentarians in Vijayawada and was the major attraction there.
She is one lady parliamentarian who is liked by all the parties equally. A good orator like Venkaiah Naidu praised the efforts of Kavitha in parliament for solving the issues of Telangana. In fact he was the one who advocated a central post to Kavitha.
