There is a talk in the political circles a Bakra close to KCR is ready to take the blame for the said liquor scam. The ED has come closer to the family members of the KCR, but they are yet to identify the real person behind the scam.
Kavitha’s absence, from the name change program, however, baffled the political circles as she had travelled to the national capital on multiple occasions as part of the preparations to launch the BRS.
She is reported to be unhappy over the way KCR ignored her in the entire process.
KCR had reportedly involved son KTR, nephew and minister T. Harish Rao in the consultation process before making the decision to change the party’s name.
Reports of a rift in the KCR family were also doing rounds earlier when KCR had appointed KTR as the working president of the party in 2019.
Kavitha, who lost the Lok Sabha elections in Nizamabad, was made a member of the upper house of the state legislature early this year.
So KCR is doing the balancing act within his limits and there could be no rift as being projected by the media.
