There is a talk that the women’s bill will be passed in the special session of the parliament. Earlier she staged a dharna also in Delhi for the same. Kavitha organised seminars too.
Demanding that the BJP-led NDA government introduce the 33 percent women’s reservations Bill in the special Parliament session, BRS MLC K. She called upon them to set aside political differences and prioritize the passage of the Bill.
Kavitha underscored the pivotal role women play in the Indian discourse and the pressing need for their representation in legislative bodies.
She highlighted the proof of concept provided by the 14 lakh women active in public life, demonstrating their ability to lead and govern effectively.
The BRS MLC said that increased women’s representation was not a matter of exclusivity but a means to build a more equitable and balanced political landscape.
