BJP Govt repeatedly says our competition is with China then why is our goal 5 trillion $ against China’s 18 trillion $? Why are our dreams not rich? : MLC Kavitha hits back at Nirmala Sithraman’s remarks

Due to myopic policies of the Central Government, India’s potential remains underutilized: Daughter of Telangana Cheif Minister

The richest who hold 60% of the country’s wealth only contribute 3% to the country’s GDP while the poorest of the poor continue to contribute more. Modi Govt creates policies that are only for the rich and corporate-friendly: Former Member of Parliament, Kalvakuntla Kavitha

Our request to the Finance Minister of India would be to pay as much attention to the poorest or poor as they do to their rich corporate friends: BRS MLC Kavitha

If you (Modi Government) cannot unlock the potential of the nation, don’t blame the States. The State is progressive. If you cannot think progressively, please don’t blame us. : MLC Kavitha

Why is the Centre not customizing schemes according to states, if they truly believe in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’: BRS Leader and MLC Kavitha

The Government should not hide behind its failures and discontinue its ‘No Data Policy’ before the people of the country say ‘No Votes Available’

MLC Kavitha interacted with the media after Nirmala Sithraman attacked BRS Government in Telangana, she said ‘With so much working population, 140 crore Indians, and ample natural resources, this country has more tremendous potential why are we aiming for a 5 trillion $ economy, Former Member of Parliament Kavitha responded concerning remarks made by Telangana Chief Minister KCR. Due to myopic policies of the Central Government, India’s potential natural resources remain underutilized, to unlock the existent and great potential in our country we need better policies.’
Daughter of Telangana Chief Minister, further added, ‘The wealthiest people in the country who hold 60% of the country’s wealth, they only contribute 3% to the GDP of this nation, while the poor and poorest of Indians contribute more but this govt only makes policies for the rich. They are only corporate friendly, not poor friendly.’
“Today, we have over 81. crore NREGS Job Card Holders, the money allocated by Union Government to this scheme is peanuts. Upon questioning, the Union Govt responds with answers like Aadhar Card issues, fingerprint issues, etc, and decides to cut down the job card holders which means you are trying to cut down the poorest of poor to get minimum wages. If we cannot give that money in hands of the poor, where will the social justice that is a duty of all the Government would come in?”, says BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha

Further, adding to her address Former Member of Parliament from Nizamabad said that “Before 2014, India had Rs 55 lakh crores of debt but today India has Rs 155 lakh crores of debt. Why are they (the Modi govt) trying to teach us fiscal prudence? Telangana as a state is growing at more than 17.5% GSDP We made revolutionary policies, and you also make such policies for the country. Today, Telangana contributes 4.5% of the GDP of this country and our population is only 2.5 % of this country”
If you (Modi Government) cannot unlock the potential of the nation, don’t blame the States. The State is progressive. If you cannot think progressively, please don’t blame us, MLC Kavitha said.

Responding to Nirmala Sithraman’s mention of Medial colleges to Telangana, Kavitha responded ” The Modi Government has a very selective way of giving funds to colleges, for Data Centre they overlooked all the favorable parameters and gave it to Gujarat, for metro funding they gave us nothing but awarded projects worth thousands of crores to Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. Happy to see other states progress but what about the rest of the States?

Why is the Centre not customizing schemes according to states, if they truly believe in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’?
Kavitha said, our hon’ble CM has termed NDA Govt as “No Data Available Govt”, we stand by it as BRS Party. Nobody is talking about Census Data anymore. She further added, every year before the budget an Economic Survey is released by the govt and this year the per capita income of the citizens of this country is not published, what is this, if not a no data govt? Their response to RTI is no data available, how much money came into RBI after demonetization no data is available, how much money is in circulation – no data available every which way, they are hiding their failures. All these answers need to b given to the people before the people of the country say ‘no votes available’
