Kartik Banerjee the own brother of Didi Mamata Banerjee is joining BJP it is reported. When the BJP is making inroads into West Bengal and when the elections are due, Kartik talking against Dynasty politics has come as a big blow to Didi.
Prashant Kishore the election strategist who is working for Didi said that the BJP will not cross the double digit figure. He means not more than 99 seats for the BJP.
But 99 is also a big number and after that Amit Shah can do wonders give surprises to Mamata Didi. The BJP is very confident of coming to power and Prashant says not more than 99.
He is confident that Mamata will retain the power in this election. But if the own brother walks out of the party and deserts, didi then it will be a big blow for the party and double advantage for the BJP.
Right now it is like saying yes and no to the BJP from Kartik. There is every chance that Kartik might fight the election on the BJP ticket. But all said and done Didi is a worried lady these days.
