Bimbisara, Karthikeya and Sita Ramam have instilled confidence in Tollywood. Now producers are sure that if they can churn out the right content the audience will come to the theatres.
It is being decided that the character actors will not be paid on a per-day basis and the remuneration would be per film. The big heroes also have agreed for reducing the remuneration by half it is learnt.
Mostly, Tollywood shootings will resume from the 22nd of this month. It is known that the Active Producers Guild agreed to an 8-week gap between the movie releases from their theatrical releases.
The producers unanimously announced that movies will arrive on OTT platforms, only after 8 weeks of their theatrical releases.
They also stressed that this rule is applicable to all kinds of movies, whether they are hits or flops.
At the same time, the schedules will be fixed for the movies and all unnecessary expenditures will be minimised. There will be no extra caravans.
A lot of new rules and regulations will be in place and the heroes and other actors will have to sign the dotted lines. All the frills and thrills will be cut to size.
The expenditure of servants and pets has to be borne by the respective actors as part of the remeration being paid by the producers.
