Karimnagar Kings made a good comeback, beating the strong contenders Warangal Warriors infrnot of their home crowd in the on going Telangana Premier Kabaddi tournament at the indoor Jawaharlal stadium, Warangal on Monday. The event is organised by Chintala Sports Pvt Ltd.

Kamrimnagar, who lost to Rangareddy Raiders in the inaugural match on Saturday looked in terrific form yesterday. Captain Mallesh Gandadhara, who was a little off colour on day one led by example with some fine raiding and good tackling. He was well supported by Gauri Shankar and Lingam Yadav in raiding.

Gauri was superb in tackling in the right corner. Lingam, who was the highest scorer in yesterday’s match was adjudged the best raider, while Satish Reddy Warriors, who made two super tackles was declared the best defender. Jagdish Yadav (CEO AIKF) and Hima Bindu, one of the directors of the Chintala Sports Ltd presented the cash awards to them.

In the first match of day three Ranga Reddy Raiders continued its dominance, overcoming Nalgonda Eagles quite comfortably to lead the table with two consecutive victories.

Hyderabad Bulls, who scored a massive win against Gadwal Gladiators on day two are in the second position at the moment.
