New lights are coming in peoples lives through Kanti Velugu program which is being conducted by the state government.
They are taking advantage of the KV camps started by the Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao to remove the problems of those suffering from eye problems.
People are happy to organize Kanti Velugu camps in rural areas without the need to go to cities, towns and hospitals to get eye tests done. The Kanti Velugu camps being organized in the districts are getting a great response from people of all walks of life, from young
men and women to the elderly. They are coming to camps and undergoing eye tests regardless of age. Public representatives and officials are playing an active role in the management of Kanti Velugu camps and are working for the success of the camp by providing advance awareness so that people can reach the Kanti Velugu camps on time.
People are celebrating as the eye tests program has become a boon for those who are afraid of the cost of conducting eye tests, are aware or do not undergo examinations, and provide glasses to the needy by conducting free eye tests without spending a single rupee.
1500 medical teams have conducted eye tests for one crore people across the state. In the second phase, 1crore 1 lakh 65 thousand 529 people have been examined so far . 64.07 percent of the target has been reached. This includes 47 lakh 70 thousand 757 males, 53 lakh 85 thousand 293 females and 3,360 transgenders. Reading glasses were distributed to 16 lakh 33 thousand 988 people while 12 lakh 31 thousand 523 people were identified for prescription glasses. 72 lakh 99 thousand 858 people were diagnosed without any eye problems.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has started a massive program which has not been undertaken by any state in the country so far. The people of the state are expressing joy. As per the orders of the superiors, special camps are being organized for employees, journalists, policemen, lawyers and people from different communities with the buffer teams in the districts and eye tests are being conducted.The Mandal offices, Gram Panchayats worked together, contribute to identify everyone who is suffering eye sight problem and made efforts to show them in the Kanti Velugu. And all public representatives mobilizing door to door campaign in the village and create awareness and see that they come to Kanti Velugu camps. The government has made efforts to create awareness with pamphlets. And Also, the medical staff, health workers and public representatives are all working together and moving the people suffering from eye tests to the kanti velugu camps.

He said that the Kanti Velugu program was taken up by the government. Give medicines and glasses for free.This scheme will benefit the poor like us a lot.

Glasses given on free of cost . eye test has done . Now it looks super. It seems that a new look has come with the Kanti Velugu scheme introduced by KCR. More such schemes should be undertaken by KCR.

Near eye sight.. far sight… Eyeglasses are given to us who have difficulty in eye sight. It is said that they look better when worn. The figures recorded in the camps show that the majority of people in the district are those who are troubled by not being able to see closely. Many people over the age of 40 come to the camp with nearsightedness. Medical tests are conducted immediately and reading glasses are provided to such people.
