Popular film editor Nishad was found dead in his apartment. The reason behind his death is not known. The police are investigating the case.
He has done the editing of the film Kanguva recently. Hailing from Harippad, the 43-year-old editor was celebrated for his innovative editing style, particularly in Thallumaala, a film that earned him the prestigious Kerala State Award.
Besides Malayalam cinema, Nishad’s talents extended to Tamil films;his latest project, Kanguva, featuring Suriya, is set for release on November 14, 2024. Nishad had also signed on for Suriya’s upcoming 45th film.
Some of his other notable works include Unda, One, Saudi Vellakka, and Adios Amigos. His sudden passing has left a void in the film industry,and his colleagues are grieving the loss of a highly skilled technician. Authorities are investigating to uncover more details
surrounding his death.
