In the name of Karona, the Madhyapradesh Assembly has been postponed till 26th of this moth giving a 10-day gap for the survival of the Congress Government led by Kamalnath.
The floor test which was supposed to take place today in the MP Assembly did not find a place in the Agenda. The Governor of MP has recommended for the floor test, while the Speaker has adjourned the house for 10 days giving a breather to Kamalnath Government.
The BJP, on the other hand, has approached the court for the floor test. It has to be seen iif the Court would intervene with the MP Government for the floor test.
It has to be seen if Congress can prevail upon the MLAs to take back the resignation. Out ofo the 22 Congress MLAs who have resigned to the MLA posts only 6 of them have accepted by the Speaker.
10 days is a big gap and anything can happen. The Congress can woo back the MLAs also while the BJP can also get new MLAs into the fold. The Congress is of the opinion that the Speaker is Supreme and that the Governor has no right to dictate over the proceedings of the Assembly. Now the Ball is in the supreme court and we have to wait for the Judgement.
