Kajal has done an item song in Janata Garage for NTR and it was a super duper hit. Then she acted with Chiranjeevi for his 150th and it was a great hit. Chiru came back into the movies after a long time. Now she says that Chiranjeevi is more romantic than any other hero in the career.
But she is averse to doing item songs now. She is not interested if the remuneration is very high also. Earlier she agreed for NTRs sake. Item songs are a way to make quick money. Sometimes the song is shot in a day or two and the money is very high.
A popular director now asked of Kajal was ready for an item song in a big budget movie and he also assured that it would be a quicky, but Kajal rejected the offer and wanted a full-length character than a single song.
She has decided not to go for these songs for the sake of money. She wants to settle down as a better actor rather than a dancer.
Leading ladies like Tamannah, Katrina, Priyanka Chopra, Shruthi Hassan, Deepika have done item songs and they continue and get paid on the higher side.
But for now, Kajal says no.
