BJP leader Kadari Anjaiah has joined the TRS in the presence of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in Hyderabad. Anjaiah expected a ticket to contest in a by-election for Nagarjunasagar Assembly constituency.

But the BJP finalised the name of Ravi Kumar Naik. Anjaiah has openly expressed his unhappiness for not giving him a ticket and declared to contest as the rebel candidate.

Three TRS MLAs held talks with Anjaiah and invited him to join the ruling party. In previous elections, Anjaiah had contested on TDP symbol and secured 30,000 votes.

He met the Chief Minister KCR and joined the TRS. Now he will work for Bhagat to see that the TRS wins the election. This is a big jolt to the BJP who have lost 2 MLC seats earlier in the state.

Right now there is talk that the Congress leader Jana Reddy has the edge over the TRS. But KCR is keeping all the options and he will see to it that the TRS wins the race in the end.
