This EO of Kanipakam is selling Vara Siddhi Vinayaka. This is pucca commercial and the EO must withdraw the hike which is a unilateral decision.
The committee members said that the EO has not consulted anyone over the hike in Abhishekam ticket. EO Suresh babu comes to the office twice a month.
With a hue and cry from other members and pilgrims, the EO was transferred to the Endowments department and a new EO was posted recently.
There was a talk that the ticket rates at Kanaka Durga temple also increased during the Dussehra. When the TTD Chairman Subba Reddy tried to increase the rates of Darshan and other things, the people rejected the decision.
The old rates continued. TTD is changing systems day in and day out putting the pilgrims in hardship. The EOs in many temples are overacting and trying to earn money left and right overburdening the pilgrims in general.
There are no proper food facilities in most of the pilgrim centres in the Telugu states. The TTD must improve the accommodation and also the system of giving the rooms.
But the YCP lawmakers and Ministers are doing whatever they want on TTD. Only money speaks on Tirumala.
