Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted that Justice has prevailed. He was reacting on the court verdict being implemented on the 4 rape culprits. They were hanged early this morning.
The womenfolk and the mother of Nirbhaya were happy that the rape culprits were hanged. They said that justice has been done to Nirbhaya. Prime Minister Modi also expressed his opinion that finally, justice has prevailed.
All four were hanged at a time this morning. President Ramnath Kovind and the courts did not excuse the culprits. They said no to the curative petitions filed by therapists.
This is the first time that four of them have been hanged in Tihar Jail at a time. After 7 years 3 months, all the four rapists were hanged to death.
Justice has prevailed.
