It is learnt that the Jubilee Hills rape victim has identified all the rapists before the Magistrate. The police are yet to confirm the news. The Osmania General Hospital has also confirmed that all the boys are potent.
So the case is to be finalised and the judges have to give the final verdict. All the boys are influential people. CP Hyderabad Anand said that each of them will get around twenty years of imprisonment and it could be for the life also.
It has to be seen as to what will the judges do while giving the verdict. There is a talk that the higher-ups in the Government including the Home Minister are trying to protect the culprits in one form or the other.
The culprits are related to an MLA, Wakf Board Chairman and also corporators. The MLA belongs to MIM. There was a hue and cry from the NGOs against the rapists, but it is getting delayed on a day-to-day basis.
The Hungama and follow-up of the media on the case also has died down after the attack and violence by the youth at the Secunderabad Railway station.
Governor Tamilisai also asked for a report on the rape case with a deadline, but no one bothered to reply to her. The state government and the police are just ignoring the Governor.
