A photo exhibition by the Telangana Photo Journalists Association and Telangana cultural department was inaugurated by Rajya Sabha MP and Green India Challenge founder Joginapally Santosh Kumar at Ravindra Bharathi here today.
This is the fourth time Santosh Kumar is launching the exhibition here in Hyderabad.It was done on the eve of World Photography Day.
Santosh also has a hobby of photography and he posts photos taken by him personally on Facebook.
He likes nature photography.
Kranti Kumar, MLA, Telangana Media Academy chairman Allam Narayana and others participated in the inaugural.
Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Kumar said that earlier, a photo was seen as equivalent to a thousand words, but now a photo was a representation of an emotion.
He appreciated photojournalists for vividly and wonderfully capturing different aspects through their pictures.
Congratulating the photojournalists, Santosh said the photographs document the development and progress of Telangana. Allam Narayana said that the best photographers will be awarded.
Santosh Kumar appreciated Bhaskar and Allam Narayana for organizing the photo exhibition. Photography is an emotion he said.
Will get sponsors for the fund for the welfare of the photographers he assured the photographers. The small group of photographers will be taken care he assured.
As a token of appreciation, he has announced two lakhs for the association.
