Joginapally Santosh Kumar the Rajya Sabha member has allocated Rs 2.95 crore for environment and tourism park at Keesaragutta. Apart from the park construction the MP Santosh Kumar in association with the forest department has decided that around 10000 saplings would be planted here in the forest area.

Santosh has adopted this park as part of the green challenge announced on the eve of TRS working President K Taraka Rama Rao birthday. Santosh Kumar will launch the works today.

The ten thousand saplings will be planted as part of the Harithaharam program. On the other hand, Santosh with the help of celebrities and others has reached a target of 2 crore plantations earlier under the Hara Hai tho Bhara hai program. He has also planted another sapling to symbolically mark the achievement. This is a record by itself where you plant a sapling and then mark three people to do the plantations.

In this way, Santosh has also planted saplings in the surroundings of the parliament building also. It may be noted that KCR also has developed the surroundings of Medak and Gajwel in a big way with plantations in the forest area. Taking a cue from KCR, MP Santosh also has decided to develop greenery in the forest area of Keesaragutta and he could impress upon others also to develop the greenery.
