The Prime Minister Modi asserted that J&K also got rid of terrorism, separatism and stone throwing and no more youths of the Valley are getting attracted to the gun or falling into wrong hands which has come as a big relief to their mothers.
Modi asserted that since 2014 when he took over as the Prime Minister the government had put a dent in terrorism and separatism in J&K and elsewhere and these are no more an issue in the elections.
“Earlier, conducting the Vasihno Devi and Amarnath yatras peacefully would be a big task and when one day of yatra would pass off peacefully, people would think how to make it peaceful the next day. In the last ten years, we have tightened the noose around terrorists and separatists and in the next five years you will see new heights of development here in J&K,” he said.
He said that the development projects undertaken by his government in J&K are just a “trailer”. He pledged to work for the creation of a fabulous picture of Naya (new) Jammu and Kashmir in the days to come”.
He noted with joy and pride that J&K has completely changed, and the biggest thing is that there has been a change of heart as people have moved from disappointments to hope. He promised them that all the issues of every section of the society in J&K will be resolved.
