Jersey the movie remade in Hindi has been released and there are mixed reactions. In Telugu, the movie done by Nani was a big hit. It was remade in Hindi by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju together.
Shahid Kapoor is the hero. Shahid has got a super hit in the form Kabir Khan earlier. It was a remake of Arjun Reddy directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.. But now the remake of Jersey proved to be a too-long film with most of the time on the cricket pitch.
Some liked the movie very much and some did not like it at all. So Shahid did his best, but the movie did not click as expected. But the producers will get the money back.
People who have not seen the movie in Telugu can see it in Hindi. It is about a determined cricket player who fights against all odds for the game including his health.
One must have an interest in cricket and also an attitude to watch this movie. The editor and director should have reduced the run time of the movie and also some unwanted scenes on the cricket pitch.
Crisp editing was not done for the movie.
