A woman claimed that she was born to Jayalalithaa and her father told his before death she is the daughter of Jaya Amma. However, the Advocate General disapproved of the ladies claim to say that Jaya was never pregnant and the video of Jaya in the award function does not show that she was pregnant.
The lady claiming to be the Jayas daughter said that the late CM visited her house and she visited the CMs house. But she failed to produce any documents or evidence in this regard to prove her claim. The woman is based in Bengaluru said that she was giving away for adoption by Jayalalithaa.
She was seeking a DNA test. The woman also filed a petition in the court saying that the body of Jaya should be exhumed and the rituals should be done as per the Iyengar traditions. She claimed that Jayas younger sister Sailaja raised her in Bengaluru. But the Government advocate Narayanan argued that the woman was making all false claims and there was no evidence that she was born to Jayalalithaa. The advocate brought to the notice of the Judge that in fact, Jaya has filed a defamation against Sailaja for claiming to be her sister.
The Judge said that everything related to Jayaamma remained a question mark and postponed the case to next week.
