Can Sasikla sustain for long as the CM of Tamilnadu ? Experts say it is not so easy . Tamilandu is in financial doldrums at this stage. Pannerselvam has stepped down three times, this time for Sasikala. Jaya could demand things from the centre, but Sasikla will not be able to do that.
Pannerselvam who rose from the level of a tea stall, did not create any issues for Sasikala for the time being. It is reported that he would become the deputy CM under Sasikala. BJP is already waiting for an opportunity. Union Minister Venkaiah is looking at the goings on here it is reported.
Jaya managed things after Janaki the wife of MGR could not stay in power beyond 24 days. But it may not be the same with Sasikala. Winning as an MLA is also not that easy, that is what political analysts say. Sasikala was a back room lady behind Jaya and influenced the decisions of the then CM. But now she has to face the things directly. She will be forced to take the diktats from the centre there is no doubt about this.
While Jaya had no family members to influence her or disturb her, Sasikalas husband Natarajan has already landed in the power centre . He has connections with the big contractor in the state. Sasikala also has good connection with the CS who is facing corruption charges. Sasikala is also facing charges that she has given wrong medicines to Jaya during the treatment.
We can say that Sasikala will have to sit on a bed of thorns . Jayas relative is already in touch with the BJP and she will not keep quite. She has in fact made a statement that Sasikala has no right to take over as the CM.
There are indications that the AIADMK will split in the near future.
