Popular film star Jayasudha who has joined the YSRC recently said that the state Government must give Nandi awards every year. She was talking at the press meet organised by T Subirami reddy who is also giving TSR award at Visakhapatnam on September 17.
Jaya Sudha said that while the Government and NGOs give awards the actors must also give some respect and come for taking the awards. Subbirami Reddy gives awards every year and some heroes just ignore the invitation.
Talking on the aspect Subbirami Reddy said that the heroes must come to take the awards and ti was not right on their part to neglect the TSR Invitation. The reality is that the TSR foundation gives awards all in the Industry. This year Jayasudha has been nominated for a special award.
On the other hand, both the Telangana and Andhra Governments have been postponing the Nandi awards from time to time. There was some controversy or the other in this regard.
The YSRC Government is now planning to clear all the awards pending for the last several years. Last year the film fraternity did not like selection of Nandi awards. So the program was put off for the time being. Now the Government has changed.
