Both Chiranjeevi and his brother Pawan Kalyan have played the spoil sport in several elections. Chiranjeevi with his Praja Rajyam party has helped Rajasekhar Reddy to retain power. While Pawan Klayan helped Chandrababu to retain the power in Andhra Pradesh.
Now Pawan wants to show his strength in the Municipal elections. People can easily guess that he will spoil the chance of one party or the other here in Hyderabad.
Pawan fans might vote for the Jana Sena but, it will definitely cut into the chances of the BJP or the TRS in the coming elections. Chiranjeevijoined the Congress for a Union Ministry and later closed his political shop.
Now we have to see if Pawan joins the BJP and closes his Jana Sena. They don’t have funds, and they will not spend even if they have. There is a talk that Jana Sena might help the BJP indirectly and spoil the chances of the TRS in some divisions.
But how far Pawan can influence the voters of the city has to be seen. The BJP has already mounted its central leaders and forces in the city. They want to give a though time to the TRS and also MIM.
If the BJP can take some seats and then they can make a difference in the general elections also in the near future. But two weeks time is too less for Jana sena and also the BJP.
TRS has got a lot of advantage when compared with the Congress and the BJP. But how far the people will honour the TRS after the severe floods in city has to be seen. It is just TRS versus BJP. Congress will be there to just divide the votes.
