Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly K Jana Reddy in a lighter vein said that it looks like CM KCR has completed his lunch and is in the house explaining about the double bed room scheme. He also pointed out that CM did not invite him for the lunch.
KCR who was equally jovial and elated said that in fact he wanted to go for a lunch with Jana Reddy, but he opined that he was unable to do so as people would read it in a different manner. It is a good thing that the CM and Leader of the opposition sit together for lunch discuss issues for the development of the state.
On the other hand Jana Reddy also said that they were in the opposition to the question the CM and the CM was there to clarify this, otherwise the people will think that they are collided and are doing nothing.
Jana Reddy also complimented the CM for taking up the double bed room scheme for the same also agreed that some mistakes have been made in the earlier regime for the double bed room houses. He also agreed with the CM that a detailed and through enquiry should be conducted and that the culprits should be punished.
The CM assured the house that there is no problem for funds and that housing will be the flagship programme for TRS Government and he was confident that this scheme will return them to power in 2019. There was no doubt about this.
The CM also agreed that the minorities did not get proper share in this program and that in future they will get their due. He agreed with the MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi that the minorities did not get the proper due in the welfare schemes. He assured that enough care would be taken in the future.
