Minister for Industries & Information Technology D Sridhar Babu and Advisor to Telangana Government Mohammed Ali Shabbir assured full government support for the successful conduct of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s national convention.
Scheduled from November 15th to 17th, 2024, the convention will be held at Wadi-e-Huda on Pahadi Shareef Road in Hyderabad. An estimated 12,000 to 15,000 delegates from across India will participate.
A review meeting was held on Friday at the Telangana Secretariat to discuss the logistical and security arrangements needed to accommodate the large turnout expected at this convention.
Minister Sridhar Babu presided over the meeting, which included officials from various departments responsible for security,sanitation, infrastructure, and essential services. The government aims to ensure a safe, peaceful, and well-coordinated event.
The convention organisers, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, had earlier submitted a formal request to the Telangana government seeking assistance from key state departments. In the letter, Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, the National Convention Organizer, underscored the need for government collaboration to manage the expected influx of delegates, including families, representing diverse backgrounds and regions.
