Baahubalis director is busy now . He has agree to do a film for the Telugu producers putting Karan Johar aside. After a well deserved family holiday in London, Rajamouli is back to work . While the entire nation is stunned by the success of Baahubali 2, its director hasn’t let the overwhelming response to the film get to his head.
Jakkanna has quickly moved on to his next project and it turns out he even has found a producer. Apparently, DVV Danayya, known for producing films such as Desamuduru, Julayi and Naayak, will bankroll Rajamouli’s next which will be an action-based revenge drama it is reported.
“Danayya will be producing Rajamouli’s next and they have even locked the story. If everything goes as planned, the shoot will commence from the year end. Rajamouli has already begun working on the script and he is likely to spend six months before going on floors.
“He hasn’t finalised on the cast yet. He usually doesn’t think about the cast without finalising his script.” While reports are doing the rounds that he might team up with Prabhas again, the source said it is very unlikely.
“Prabhas has Saaho, and it’s a very big project and it will require him to dedicate a lot of time. Therefore, it’s very unlikely that he will team up with Rajamouli again and definitely not right away.”It could be junior NTR or Naani.
The source also revealed that this project won’t be made on an exorbitant budget unlike Baahubali. However, it could be made with a star who can appeal to audiences beyond Telugu industry.
Like he made a film earlier with Sunil, this could be also with an average hero. It all depends on how the story is going to take shape.
