Rythu Bandhu was the main point projected by K Chandrasekhar Rao at the NITI Ayog meet. This will reduce the suicides of the farmers he pointed out to Prime Minister Modi and also other CMs along with the Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Then he explained about the 5 lakh insurance to the farmers. He also talked about the farmers Pattadar passbooks. The CMs and PM heard the speech of KCR with rapt attention. Pure seeds and fertilisers along with water are being provided for the agriculture he explained at the NITI Ayog meet.
He cited the examples of various irrigation projects and gave the details of land coming under cultivation. Godowns and cold storage facilities details were also given by the CM KCR. Remunerative price to the farming community was also suggested by the Telangana CM. He talked about the defence and industrial development in the country and the ways and means to develop various sectors in the country were elaborated by KCR here.
Earlier in the alphabetical order, Andhra Pradesh CM spoke first and was topped by the Home Minister Rajnath as he was taking a long time. Chandrababu took more than the time allocated to him. Just 7 minutes was given to each of the CMs . But Babu took more than 10 minutes and was interrupted by Rajnath so that he can give time to others at the meet. Most of the CMs and PM were impressed with the suggestions of Telangana CM KCR.
