AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy is taking a big risk by taking the resignations of his ministers today. The new team will fight for the elections and we can call it the election cabinet.
Some Ministers have already vacated the offices and quarters in Andhra Pradesh. BCs will get a bigger representation as they were supporting the TDP for decades.
Jagan who returned from Delhi met Governor Harichandan and sought permission for the cabinet reshuffle. First, the entire cabinet will tender resignations and then Jagan will retain one or two from the old cabinet.
Peddi Reddy is one name that will be retained it is learnt. Jayaram recommended by Mining Baron Gali will also be retained it is reported. One member from the Mekapati family will get the post.
The Nanis will have to take a rest. Jagan is now trying to add one more district to AP, to make it nine the lucky number as per numerology. The Cabinet meeting will be held for taking the resignations of the Ministers.
The new cabinet will be sworn in by the Governor on the eleventh. But sooner or later Jagan is going to face the music from the disgruntled elements.
