CM of Andhra Pradesh Jaganmohan Reddy will take the resignations of the Ministers by this month-end it is learnt. In the same fashion earlier Senior NTR the then Chief Minister of United AP removed all the ministers with just one signature for a revamp.
In the same fashion, Jagan will follow the revamp procedure. The chief minister is likely to seek the resignation of all the 24 ministers of his cabinet on March 27. They would, however, continue as interim ministers till April 2, when the new cabinet would be sworn in.
Chief minister Jaganmohan Reddy is likely to induct 25 ministers in the new cabinet, including five ministers of the present cabinet. The names of the five ministers who would be retaining their posts, however, have been kept secret by the chief minister.
It is learnt Jagan will follow the same formula he has adopted in the first cabinet – more than 50 per cent of the seats would be reserved for SCs, STs, BCs and minorities. Once again, there would be five deputy chief ministers belonging to five different caste groups.
The home minister would also be a woman. The cabinet is constituted in such a way that almost all the newly formed districts would be given representation in the cabinet. A few of the MLCs would also find a place in the cabinet, it is reported.
Jagan is doing nothing but implementing the word given to the Ministers. He said that the new ministers will come after two and a half years. That is happening now.
