Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy have met today at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Jagan along with SV Subbareddy the TTD Chairman have invited CM KCR for the Lord Balaji Bharmotsavams at Tirupathi. Jagan gave the invitation to CM KCR here.
The agenda is to resolve the issues of water sharing between the states was discussed. It may be noted that both the Chief Ministers have resolved to sort out all the issues amicably and walk together on the path of development.
The CMs complemented each other over various issues that have been resolved.
The first gesture was the Chief Minister of AP giving away the buildings in the Secretariat to the state of Telangana. KCR the CM has already moved forward for the construction activity here at the Secretariat.
KCR said that there was no need for the Governor’s or the intervention nor the centre if the states can sit together and resolve the issues. As part of the strategy, the Chief Ministers of both the states will be sitting together and finally resolving the issues related to the interstate matters.
The meeting was fixed at Pragathibhavan. TRS working president KT Rama Rao and other ministers along with the officials are expected to participate in the meeting.The issue related to power Tariff dues between the states will also be discussed.
