Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will not go against the BJP. He has the issues of several cases against him.
He has made it clear several times that for him, the state interests are paramount, rather than which party or alliance would form the government at the Centre.
Jagan is happy with the state politics and can continue with the welfare schemes.
The chief ministers of various non-BJP ruled states were discussed at a meeting, but not that of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Obviously, Mamata and Stalin and KCR know that Jagan would not like to be part of any effort that would pick up a fight with the Centre.
There are several reasons for Jagan not becoming part of this meeting of anti-BJP ruled states’ chief ministers.
Jagan doesn’t have any ambitions to play any role in national politics. He is interested only in returning to power in the state for a second term and continuing his welfare schemes.
