Jagan said that his MPS were ready to quit the posts for the sake of special status. The DGP on the other hand said that there was no permission to any group for agitations as it was republic day.

Tweeting , a day before the proposed “jallikattu- type” agitation on the denial of SCS, at R.K. Beach in Visakhapatnam, the actor-turned politicians alleged that the MPs from the State failed to convey the feelings of the people of Andhra Pradesh to Centre due to fear.

“They (the MPs) should have conveyed the anguish to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Centre made it clear that it was against giving SCS”, Mr. Kalyan said.

“It is because of your inaction that youth are forced to come on to the roads. You neither fight for SCS nor allow them (youth) to take up the cause (SCS). What is the solution then?” Mr. Kalyan asked, amidst warnings by the Director General of Police N. Sambasiva Rao against staging the protests without permission.

Mr. Kalyan further observed that the people of Andhra Pradesh are not the slaves of the leaders in Delhi or parties there.

“Persons with selfish interests might prostrate before you but don’t think the people of Andhra are your slaves”, he tweeted adding that those coming forward to fight for SCS by drawing inspiration from the unity with which people of Tamil Nadu fought for revoking the ban on Jallikattu, should not be pulled back.

YSRCP leader Jagan on the other hand blamed Chandrababu that he sold out the state to the centre and was hand in glove with the BJP Government to protect himself from the cases.
