Minister Jagadish Reddy has planted saplings as part of the green India Challenge. The Minister for power has planted saplings here at the Minister’s quarters.
After planting the saplings he has given the challenge to Chief secretary Somesh Kumar, Genco CMD Devulapalli Prabhakar Rao and Tranco CMD Raghuma Reddy.
The Minister complimented Joginapally Santosh Kumar the TRS MP for taking up the Green India Challenge which would protect the atmosphere by preventing pollution.
Jagadish said that in the name of Haritha Haram the chief Minister KCR has launched the program and Joginapally has changed it into a new and innovative method which is also good for the state.
People from all walks of life have planed saplings in a big way the Minister complimented. So far around 5 crore saplings have been planted which is a record.
All of them must take up the challenge and plant saplings in a big way which would become big trees and protect the environment in a big way by protecting the atmosphere he said.
