Kavitha the TRS MLC opined that as it is winter season people are coming late to the polling booths for GHMC voting. She also opined that because of the Covid conditions, people could be hesitating to move out.
The media has brought to the notice of Kavitha that the polling is not good as things stand. But Kavitha was of the opinion that they might come out by evening as there is time till 6PM.
She was hopeful that the TRS would hit a century this time. But it looks like the city people have shown no interest in the polling. The people who are in the outskirts have come in large numbers for voting when compared to the city.

The voting pattern looked as if the people are rejecting the political parties. In 150 divisions only 18 percent voting was recorded by 1 pm. Gidimalkapur recorded around 50 percent by 1 Pm. The old city is having very less percentage.
Gachbowli recorded around 33 per cent. Rain baazar very less polling was recorded. Adikmet just 7 percent was recorded. In Ameerpet out of 40000 votes only 317 votes have been polled.
