Chiranjeevi who is doing a remake of another film of Ajith has suggested the two directors come up with their Telugu versions. One of them will get the opportunity to direct the Chiranjeevi for this remake.
The movie is Yennai Arindhaal made in 2015. Chiranjeevi is already remaking two Tamil films and this will be the third film. Perhaps this is the first time that two directors were pitted against each other to write for the Telugu remake of a Tamil film.
