The third day of Sankranthi called as Kanuma is famous for eating non vegetarian and having liquor. The Andhra non vegetarian markets are brimming with customers and the prices have been raised.

The mutton is costing around Rs 1200 a Kg. The sellers say it is festival time and the last day of the festival. The sellers are happy and it is not having any demonetisation effect. With natu Kodi being very costly most of them are taking broilers chicken. The wine shops are also brimming with activity since last night and there is heavy business.

Overall the festival was celebrated in a big way in both the Telugu states. No one talked about the regular money issue, changes issue and other things.
